As we talk about the Stratocumulus cloud, there are five species. The most common is Stratocumulus stratiformis (Sc str).
It looks like a long lined up tortillas or buns with a grey bottom and light spaces between them. The rolls are usually flattened. This species looks like it is going to rain, but it is known for only occasional light precipitation.
At the end of its life, it can be separated and create Cumulus clouds. So, are you on the hunt for some photos? Sends us the results!
